Summer has just ended, and for Bike Facilities, it’s already time for events, meetings, and opportunities to turn dozens of new ideas into reality.
GaLaBau: the German trade fair on urban furnishings
From September 11 to 14, our team attended GaLaBau, the international trade fair for urban and outdoor furniture, which, at every edition, attracts visitors—public administrators, designers, tourism operators, and companies—from all over the world to the city of Nuremberg (Germany).
With over 66,000 attendees from 80 different countries, the recently concluded edition confirmed this fair as a strategic marketplace for Italian companies: a group of enterprises that, thanks to their know-how, now lead the European green market, second only to Germany and the Netherlands.
Highlights from the GaLaBau Fair in Germany
Bike Facilities showcased at GaLaBau some renewed versions of our traditional smart columns and photovoltaic shelters, two product categories that framed the presentation of a few new entries in our catalog: the URBAN-BUTTERFLY bike rack and the space-saving vertical parking system P-VERTICAL (further details on these products are available in the catalog on this website).
Next Stop: InOut Rimini
From October 9 to 11, the InOut Rimini event will take place, a trade fair parallel to the well-known TTG Travel Experience, dedicated to the entire contract community, both indoor and outdoor
With four different exhibition areas designed to fully represent the latest trends in indoor furnishings, beach resort furniture, contract materials, and outdoor spaces and hospitality furnishings, InOut promises to be an unmissable business opportunity for us at Bike Facilities. Our goal is to meet and build significant relationships with key players—operators and companies—in the Italian and international tourism and hospitality sector.
Towards the InOut Fair
InOut will also be the perfect occasion to present the best of Bike Facilities’ product catalog in a fresh way, offering our visitors advanced and customized solutions for outfitting bike rooms and bike hotels in general. At our stand, you’ll be able to view an example of a container repurposed as a bike garage, complete with bike storage, a workshop corner, and charging points.
Last but not least, the event will serve as the stage for another great innovation promoted by our company: the addition of a Bike & Brand Specialist to our team, with cross-functional expertise in mobility, technology, tourism, sustainability, and accessibility. What is it? It’s a new consulting role that will guide tourism businesses, organizations, and companies through all phases of any green mobility project—from the initial strategy to the implementation and promotion of safe and accessible routes, as well as the installation and maintenance of infrastructure—demonstrating a keen awareness and sensitivity towards key issues in the sector such as sustainability, accessibility, and safety.
